See Iken Cloud in Action
Join one of our Iken Cloud Demo Sessions with other North West organisations.
The Iken team were delighted to take part in this year’s NWLC Annual Training Day, a well-attended and energising day in Liverpool filled with collaboration, conversation, and shared purpose across local government legal services.
With attendees from councils, legal departments, and partner organisations across the North West, the event provided the perfect setting to connect with both long-standing clients and those exploring new options in legal case management.

Valued Conversations and Real-World Challenges
Throughout the day, it was a pleasure to speak with teams from St Helens, Wirral, Bolton, Sefton, Cheshire East & West, Knowsley, Cheshire Police, Halton, Lancaster, Lancashire, West Lancashire – to name just a few.
Many of these conversations focused on the tangible ways Iken Cloud is already helping teams manage cases, documents, and compliance while others were keen to explore how our software could support their journey forward.
Feedback from existing customers highlighted the role Iken plays in simplifying daily workflows and improving visibility across teams. For those trialling or reviewing Iken Cloud, there was strong interest in how the software supports collaboration, data access, and smarter reporting.
From Familiar Faces to New Introductions
A real highlight of the day was catching up with familiar clients and welcoming new colleagues from legal teams across the region.
There was a shared curiosity around Iken Cloud’s evolving capabilities from document automation and integrated Outlook recording to upcoming features like Iken Connect. For some, the event marked a chance to follow up on previous demos or revisit conversations about migration from desktop to cloud.
Across all interactions, the message was clear: teams are actively looking for secure, configurable solutions that support case complexity while making the day-to-day easier.

Positive Energy, Chocolate, and Champagne
It wouldn’t be a proper NWLC without a little celebration. Congratulations to Gemma Baker (Sefton) and Johnathan Barnett (Wirral), winners of our Jeroboam of Champagne prize draw. And, of course, the Lindt chocolate box on the stand didn’t last long, a popular post-lunch dessert among delegates!
We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with us at NWLC. The energy in the room, the thoughtful conversations, and the genuine interest in how legal teams can work better together made this an event to remember.
